It's very rare for a Nissan dealership to touch a Z enthusiast's Z. A lot of the Nissan mechanics were trained after the Zs stopped production, so they aren't always the most competent when it comes to the Z. Plus, Nissan mechanics at a dealership aren't typically the type to hang out with an enthusiast crowd. Not to overgeneralize, but that's how it is around me. Bernie Bilski (Bernie NoVa) is in Alexandria, about 2.5 hours from you, and does a lot of great mechanical work on Zs.
